A Great Use of CMYK Ink Colours

How extraordinary!

A pen that can take a color sample from any object you have in front of you, allowing you to get the exact color/shade/tone that you want to use.

The Scribble is a “colour picking” writing tool that uses 4 ink cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to generate any colour you want. As an artist, the idea of having one tool that can give me an endless array of colour options sounds simply amazing. Especially if I have a specific item that has inspired me, I can use this tool to capture the exact colour required to bring my artwork to life.

In addition to obtaining the right ink colour, one can also generate the specific HEX colour code of that color sample. This way; if you wish to apply these colors to any digital artwork you are producing, you know the exact color code to use.

I especially enjoy that they attempted to capture a colour by taking a sample from their family pet within their promotional video posted above. This leads me to wonder what other unique items we could try to sample?
